Preconstruction

Our preconstruction team is known for superior strategic thinking and precision. Our extensive knowledge of Owners’ issues -- from permits and approvals to new environmental regulations and market conditions -- will give your project a smart start. Having a broad context allows us to anticipate problems earlier, give targeted advice and add value at every stage of construction.

Uniwest’s estimators and project managers combine meticulous planning and extensive experience with ongoing support. We help with any preconstruction issues including, conceptual estimating, value engineering, drawing review, systems analysis, scheduling, and quality control. General Construction

We excel at execution. Each project is a partnership between Owners, Architects and Subcontractors ... and we work to keep the communication flowing, the process efficient and the relationships rewarding.

Uniwest manages and supervises all aspects of construction for base building and tenant/buildout projects, including renovations and historic restoration. We maintain a staff of experienced craftsmen who perform carpentry, millwork installation, drywall work and other services; for the rest, we maintain partnerships with skilled contractors who allow us to meet our clients’ exacting standards -- and our own.

 
     
 
 
     
 

Design/Build

Uniwest can partner with an architectural firm to bring a project from concept through construction. Working for the Owner, we can manage and supervise the process from design through budgeting, contract preparation and scope development. Our commitment to combining quality work with excellent relationships simplifies the process while eliminating confusion, anticipating challenges and ensuring on-time delivery. Moreover, our expertise in cost control and logistics will ensure you will get the building you envisioned at the budget you expected.

 
     
 
 
     
 

Service Department

The Service Department’s goal is to provide quick solutions to our clients.  Our experience offers our clients solutions to problems, often without the need to go through the expense of hiring an architect or engineer to design a solution.  When we can offer a solution, we immediately follow it up by performing the work.  Uniwest can do any service project including shelving, cabinets, door and hardware repairs, paint and wallpaper, carpeting, glass, small electrical, plumbing and HVAC projects, which can all be completed by our in-house forces.  We also have immediate access to subcontractors who can perform trades which we do not do ourselves, such as small concrete jobs, masonry and stone work, and metal or iron work.  For all the little projects that never seem to get done, we have the team that wants to do them.
